And so I tried to let go

Bare and bruised

Used

Heck even abused

All the while I snoozed

To tired to awake

Not knowing what was at stake

But now this box I shake

What I am- I’m ready to make

Down is up and up is down

A smile wins over a frown

In the depths of love misery drowns

Upon my head a bright bright crown

Show me if you too see

Just what it takes to be

No more than free
